Kripke Models for Classical Logic

چکیده
We introduce a notion of Kripke model for classical logic for which we constructively prove soundness and cut-free completeness. We discuss the novelty of the notion and its potential applications.

Truth Values and Connectives in Some Non-Classical Logics
The question as to whether the propositional logic of Heyting, which was a formalization of Brouwer's intuitionistic logic, is finitely many valued or not, was open for a while (the question was asked by Hahn). Kurt Gödel (1932) introduced an infinite decreasing chain of intermediate logics, which are known nowadays as Gödel logics, for showing that the intuitionistic logic is not finitely (man...

We introduce e ectiveness considerations into model theory of intuitionistic logic. We investigate e ectiveness of completeness (by Kripke) results for intermediate logics such as for example, intuitionistic logic, classical logic, constant domain logic, directed frames logic, Dummett's logic, etc.
متن کاملKripke semantics for fuzzy logics
Kripke frames (and models) provide a suitable semantics for sub-classical logics; for example Intuitionistic Logic (of Brouwer and Heyting) axiomatizes the reflexive and transitive Kripke frames (with persistent satisfaction relations), and the Basic Logic (of Visser) axiomatizes transitive Kripke frames (with persistent satisfaction relations). Here, we investigate whether Kripke frames/models...
متن کاملExogenous Quantum Logic
Most of the work on quantum logic (since the seminal paper [4]) has continued to adopt the lattice of closed subspaces of a Hilbert space as the basis for its semantics [11, 8]. Here we take a quite different approach, what we call the exogenous approach. The key idea is to keep the models of the classical logic (say propositional logic) as they are, to produce models for the envisaged quantum ...
متن کاملAGM Revision in Classical Modal Logics
AGM-style revision operators are defined for several systems of classical modal logic. · · · draft of November 28, 2009 · · · Within AGM, consistency maintenance is done by classical logic. But the reliance on classical consistency presents a problem for exporting AGM revision to non-classical logics in general, and to modal logic in particular. A general technique for solving this problem is t...
